Live streaming is, by definition,anywhere you want it to be! Your audience can watch your event from anywhere in the world, at any time, from any time zone. If someone has to pick up their kid from school halfway through your event they can pause it, take care of what they need to do, and then come back to your event and finish

‍WHY SHOULD YOU LIVE STREAM?
At a recent event of ours, we took an event with approximately 5,000 audience members and broadcast it to another 35,000+ people via live stream. You would have to rent a stadium for an event to host that many people in real life! That’s why live streaming is not only a great way to save you money on event production costs but to reach more people than would normally be possible. The best part about live streaming?  If done correctly, you can really make your audience feel like they’re a part of the event, not just peeking in.

‍HOW DO YOU LIVE STREAM?
‍Live streaming involves some planning, and a good AV company will help you with that. First, make sure that you have the correct cameras and technology to set up your live stream. At Catalyst, we own our equipment, which ultimately makes it cheaper for you (no middle man!). You’ll also need to consider the internet connection at your venue, whether you’re streaming in HD or not, and consider backup options if the internet at the venue fails.
